Eastside Family Place’s workshops are facilitated by community professionals and are scheduled on a monthly or bimonthly basis. Most workshops are short, two hours or less, and are usually only one session. Workshops are provided at no charge for ESFP members and childminding is available, no charge, for children aged 18 months to early six years.

Westcoast Childcare Resource and Referral information session
Representatives will be on hand to give you information about childcare options as well as the specifics of the government’s new recently-announced fee structure.

A Good Night’s Sleep – an infant and toddler sleep workshop with Susannah Ritchie
Some of the topics to be discussed include the following: What’s normal and what’s not normal. How to apply infant sleep science. Sleep training options and controversy. Holistic approaches to improving sleep.

One-on-One Parent Coaching – with Cathryn from SFU’s Information Children
If you have any issues or concerns, take advantage of these one-on-one parent coaching sessions.   Cathryn is providing three 30-minute sessions and we recommend you phone or email Gaye as soon as possible to book your time.
