Circle of Security

Circle of Security is a program designed for parents children aged 0-6 years who want to strengthen the bonds with their children and would like support to help their children to build secure relationships. The Circle of Security is a visual map of attachment. The Circle of Security figure is a central visual focused on helping caregivers reflect upon children’s attachment needs in order to promote secure attachment with a child. A series of video clips are viewed followed by reflection questions in the group discussion. This helps parents become attuned to the child’s needs along the “circle.”

Facilitated by Cathryn McPhee and Melissa Rodrigues. Participants must be able to commit to the full 7 weeks.  Childcare available.
