Your child will enjoy the lively combination of movement, songs and rhymes and you will learn many fun ways to engage your child and promote early learning and literacy. Family Rhythm, Rhyme + Movement is an interactive program facilitated by experienced early-childhood educators. It’s a wonderful Saturday morning activity and a great way to connect with other families in the community. Nurture early literacy, language, music – and family fun!

Dawn Zoe Simpson and Nuri Marconato will teach songs, rhymes and stories for pure enjoyment; songs and rhymes can also help with parenting during often stressful transitions such as getting ready for daycare, leaving the playground, bathing, mealtime…
Your two facilitators, Dawn Zoe and Nuri are certified Parent Child Mother Goose Program leaders with 30+ years of combined experience facilitating family music programs. Dawn Zoe is an Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Educator and musician. Nuri is a Nobody’s Perfect Parent Educator. Both facilitators have an extensive background supporting families with young children. Together they bring a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm for early childhood development and parent support.

Come jam along with Teacher Monica as she leads us with her ukulele, special instruments and hosts guest puppets like Jumping Jack the Jazz Frog and Baby the Bunny Rabbit while learning about music from around the world. Instruments provided for all participants.
Monica Lee (Teacher Monica) is a multidisciplinary Vancouver artist and co-owner/curriculum creator of Jump Into Music. This one of a kind music and movement program engages, educates, and entertains both parent and child. Classes are designed to stimulate the whole brain and body via singing, dancing, drumming, parachuting, improvising, exploring instruments, jumping and playing.
